About this project
FIDA Uganda approached CodeBits Co. Limited needing a system to track the progress of legal cases and internal organisational activities. I was assigned to lead a team of 5 developers through the full design and development process. The system supports multiple role-based access levels including Legal Aid Officers, Accountants, M&E officers, and Directors of Programs. Features include full CRUD operations on cases, clients, lawyers, judges, case tracking, status management, reports, statistics, and task management. Built with React.js, Chakra UI, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB - I led frontend development and served as Scrum lead, making key technology and architecture decisions throughout.
